Hi I'm Cheryl
Who I Am and Why I Do what I Do
I am the founder of Bodhi Essence. A mother, creator, ocean loving, tree hugging peaceful warrior. I am also a multi-dimensional healer who combines energetic healing techniques like reiki, crystal healing, deep healing massage, bowen therapy, sound and aromatherapy to those that are suffering a overstimulated nervous system.
With many years working in the corporate space as an Event Manager & Personal assistant, I was surrounded by a variety of personalities and diverse cultures, so I learnt the importance of treating everyone equally, with respect and that we all needed to feel loved, to be heard, to be safe, needed and to be happy. I often stepped into a social workers role defending those that didn't have those basic sacred life needs. So, I knew in my heart that one day I would step away from my career and build my business *Bodhi Essence* where I could offer healing to others and teach self-healing techniques through workshops.
But not before I worked through my own trauma and healing journey.
I faced many awakening lessons dealing with severe physical injury knocking me out of action for near 10 years and then PTSD that prevented me from living my life to the fullest. I struggled to sleep, walk, work, exercise and lived in constant knee/leg pain for nearly a decade. Thankfully, my inner knowing, life studies and strong belief in energetic healing, allowed me to self-heal, avoid crazy medical procedures, by addressing the root causes, learning more about our emotional, mind and pain body connections.
So, I can relate to any disharmony and trauma and would be honored to assist you.

Energy healing is the vehicle that recharges chakras from being clogged with stagnate energy and from spinning irregularly or in the wrong direction. Ideally, your chakras should spin gently and consistently in an energy exchange and be similar in shape and size to one another.
